With a background in Hollywood film making - PhilmHaus been providing dubbing services for major camera stores, Government agencies, production companies- plus the archives of some of NZ’s & Australia’s most prominent families- including the Washington National Library of Congress in the USA for over 10 years!
All film and tape dubbing takes place in our *Dolby Standard editing suite*.
All 8mm films are edited in an *Apple Final Cut Pro* environment with support of *Blackmagic Design* capture cards.
***8mm Films*** to full 1080p captures- edges tided and colour corrected in a Prototype film scanner that scans in REAL TIME. ie 4 mins of film takes 4 mins to capture! VERY fast turnaround for family urgent matters.
***Tape formats:*** VHS, VHS-C, Sony Video8, Hi8.Mini DV, Full DV, DVCAM, Sony HDV 1080i or 1080p, Betacam SP, DigiBeta etc
*Steady Professional Time based correction means we can capture through glitches and camera stops that other can’t ! PAL & NTSC - No problem!*

$20 per tape for Mini DV, Hi8, Sony Video8, VHS-C and $30 VHS up 2 Hours
$35 for any tape over 2 hours in duration

8mm Film

$30 per 50 ft 3.5 minutes (Small - Typically yellow casing)
$60 per 200 ft reel 14 minutes
$100 per 300ft reel 28 Minutes

$10 Tape repairs- per torn or white mould on tape causing tearing tape
$15 DVD to USB files- typically for previously archived home movies- yes they can be converted to just RAW playable files
$15 Per DVD if preferred for screenings- full labeled via computer printing NB: NOT recommended for archiving!
$60 per blu-ray for HDV or 8mm, Super8mm to HD AVCHD
$20 per audio tape- PER SIDE up to 45 mins
